Dear Housewife,

You are such an amazing part of this world. 

Your profession is so underrated. I completely understand how it seems so and that is because there is not one word that can possibly describe all that you do.

You are much more than you see yourself! Trust me, the world wouldn’t survive without you. 

Your gift to the world is daily and it is in the quality of human beings you tend to and once they step out, instantly become an extension of you. It may not feel so, like I said there are no words that will ever suffice.

I know, I know, you don’t have it together, guess what?! Nobody does!!! But somehow, you are still the best at putting everybody together, fixing everything.

You’ve lost track of time and days and feel time just passes you by, however, you should know that just like time, your impact in the lives of those and things you nurture can never be tracked or quantified.

What about all of my qualifications? Am I wasting them, just sitting at home? Oh my!!! Have you thought about how those skills could benefit your work at home? Also, you don’t just sit at home? As a matter of fact, sitting is probably the last thing you do after you’ve done the countless chores that lie in wait daily.

You are constantly under pressure to be perfect and to make everyone and everything perfect, I’m sure by reading this line, even you have come to see how hilarious and impossible that task is, just like life, every new day and moment is an opportunity to IMPROVE, honestly, in my humble opinion, perfection is a myth, a fantasy!!!

Today, it is all about you! You are celebrated and you should know what an integral part of your home, your neighborhood, your society, and the world-at-large, you really are.

So here is what you are going to do today:

You are going to fix that crown on your head and stand straight and tall.

You are going to replace that look of overwhelm with that of pride(seriously, you are what superhumans are made of) and claim your superhuman status, pronto!!!

You are going to acknowledge your position and profession as Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) Home!

You are also going to ease off the ‘unnecessary’ pressure, knowing a better today than yesterday is more than enough to celebrate. Give yourself a pat on the back, Queen!

You are also going to take a moment to be grateful and be thankful to have been granted such an immense opportunity to serve your home  and contribute to society and the world.

You see, you are the custodian of all things precious, you make things happen.

You are more than a person juggling between being a mom, wife and homemaker. 

YOU ARE A LEADER! So let your next set of thoughts, steps and actions mimic the highly elevated position you occupy!
